We are seeking a part-time Accounting Assistant who can provide bookkeeping and administrative support.  The position can be work from home or in our Kent or Bellevue locations. 

Primary Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Maintaining the accounting records for the company using QuickBooks and Xero. Reconciling all accounts as needed.

  • Performing banking functions as required.

  • Preparing financial statements and reports. 

  • Complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.

  • General administrative office support and file organization. 

  • Drive brand awareness and increase market share. 

  • Distribute sales, training and marketing literature and collateral. 

  • Establish, retain and grow strong relationships with clients. 

  • Meet with business owner on a regular basis for review and discussion. 

The areas of responsibility will be increased and adapted to the skill and experience of the candidate.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications and Skills:

  • Associate degree or several years of relevant work experience may be substituted.

  • Experienced with QuickBooks Online and Desktop versions, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point) and Adobe Acrobat. If you have experience with Xero, Gusto, Google Docs, it's a plus! 

  • Ability to quickly learn other software as needed.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Attention to detail with the ability to proof own work and the work of others.

  • Highly motivated, proactive and enthusiastic team player with the ability to work independently.

Compensation: DOE part-time with opportunity to grow
