BOOKKEEPER
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper. This position works remotely from the comfort of your own home or in our Kent office.
Primary Responsibilities Will Include:
-
Setting up a chart of accounts for clients' books.
-
Maintaining the accounting records for the company using QuickBooks Online.
-
Reconciling all accounts as needed.
-
Preparing financial statements and reports.
-
Preparing B&O and 1099 Tax Filing.
-
Complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.
-
General administrative office support and file organization.
-
Meet with the business owner regularly for review and discussion via Zoom.
The areas of responsibility will be increased and adapted to the skill and experience of the candidate.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related fields or equivalent work experience may be substituted.

Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience.

Proficient with QuickBooks Online, MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and Adobe Acrobat. If you have experience with QuickBooks Desktop, Wave, Xero, Gusto, and Google Docs, it's a plus!

TAX ADVISOR
We are seeking a Tax Advisor who can provide advisory services. The best candidate must possess excellent communication skills and ability to foster positive relationships with the client base and fellow employees. This position works remotely from the comfort of your own home.
Primary Responsibilities Will Include:

Provide advice and answer client's bookkeeping and tax questions.

Review individual and business tax returns for completeness and accuracy.

Review financial statements.

Assist with tax research.
-
Complete quarterly projections.
-
Complete tax research related to client's situation.
-
Participate in annual tax education events as directed.
-
Actively seeking updated tax knowledge as required.

Maintain client records.
-
Actively participate in quarterly and departmental strategy sessions.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications and Skills:

CPA or EA license preferred

Substitute for 5 years or more relevant accounting and tax related experiences

The Client Service Specialist provides excellent service, operation and sales support to the firm staff and our clients. Serves as the initial point of contact with responsibilities to greet, direct, and assist clients with any service-related issues as well as resolve issues and problems. Builds positive relationships with peers, business partners, and community members while working effectively with others to accomplish firm's goals.
Primary responsibilities will include:

Responsible for the day-to-day operations and administrative functions of the firm.
